The English Waterfall
This is a group of waterfalls in the Agnone valley at the foot of Monte d’Oro. In the early 20th century, the place was very popular with the British. With a nice path, through the woods and swimming in natural pools are available to see.
Hiking in our mountains
Monte d’Oro, is one of the highest peaks in Corsica (2389 meters).
The climb is for experienced hikers. At the summit, the beauty of the place is unique. There are other walks nearby.
Visit the village of Vivario and swim in the waters of Vecchio. From the hamlet of Canaglia there is easy access to the Manganello Valley.

Only 30 minutes from Vizzavona is Corte, the historic capital of Corsica, with the gorges of the Restonica (classified site) and the Tavignanu Valley. You can go hiking in two of the most beautiful valleys in Corsica or swim in the many basins filled with the crystalline waters from the region’s rivers.
You can also discover the history of our island by visiting the Corsica Museum.
Ajaccio, Capital of Corsica
A 50-minute drive or just over an hour by train from the hotel, Ajaccio, the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte and the headquarters of the Territorial Authority of Corsica, is an important natural and cultural heritage: the bloodthirsty islands with its fine beaches and sunsets. The citadel, the old port and the Fesch Museum which houses the largest collection of Italian paintings after the Louvre.
